Thank you for your interest in helping the rural poor of Peru by participating on an exciting service expedition with Ascend Alliance! Projects in Peru include:

Airfare ranges from $1,400 - $1,700 depending on season.

• Education projects and construction of primary school
• Health campaign, clinics and workshops
• Small business development
• Reforestation

A unique experience awaits our participants as they are lodged among the locals in rural Andean villages. Highlights include: 

• Eat locally-prepared foods (prepared with western standards)
• A true in-depth cultural experience.
• Clean, basic lodging provided in local homes outfitted with indoor plumbing, hot water and electricity.

Either at the beginning or end of the expedition participants are encouraged to take an additional cultural tour of the region with Ascend staff planning every step of the way. On these tours you can expect to see:

• Inca Trail (2 day short version)
• Machu Picchu
• Open-air markets and local textiles
